Spent a few hours at Mohawk Pond in Goshen, CT this past Saturday morning. Caught several LMB 12" and less. There are some 16-18" in there but couldn't hook up with them this trip. Was a fun trip nonetheless, has the pond to myself and it was a beautiful bluebird sky morning! I started out fishing topwater with a Rebel Pop-R and buzzbait. Caught a couple dinks on the Pop-R. Switched over to a weedless Ned rig when sun got a bit higher in the sky and caught 4 more dinks. Used a Coppertreuse TRD on the Ned rig. Here is a pic of one of the dinks caught on the Ned rig. Mohawk Pond, although small, is a beautiful spot to visit and spend a morning.
